Next time you are at a party or at a bar having a couple brewskis, remember this trick. Just don't piss anyone off too much by breaking glass all over! Be sure to wear protective gloves until you master this. Bet your friends or a stranger and ask how much they will give you to break just the bottom off a glass bottle.
Be sure to finish your beer first, then refill the bottle to the normal level with water. Hold the bottle with one hand and smack the open end of the bottle with the heel of your hand pretty hard. If you do it right, the pressure from the air you are forcing into the bottle will shatter and pop off just the bottom of the beer bottle cleanly. Be sure to MASTER this technique because it is not difficult to shatter the bottle and cut yourself or others!
